VRangers Andharban Jungle Trek
As the name is the jungle, so dense and dark that at some places the sun-rays don’t reach to ground at noon time as well and one may not find any route out of it if lost.
Jungle trek: One of the ancient sahyadri passes that joins ghat to konkan area, Andharban offers endless trudge through the thicket forest.
Trekking: we will be walking on ridge offering awesome view of the Kundalika Valley, Bhira dam and the mountain ranges of Tamhini ghat.
Type: Trek though mountains and jungle
Height: 3000 ft above msl approx
Grade: Easy Bt endurance level little high
Region: Tamhini Ghat-Kundalika.
Waterfalls: En-route 4-5 small waterfalls to enjoy.
The steps to the fort has been blown off and hence to reach the top one has to tackle 10-15 feet rock patch with a chimni climb and 20-25 ft rock patch. Approx 80-100ft rappelling.
There are about 6-7 water tanks on top out of which only 4 hold potable water. There are some remnants of structures on top and nothing else.

Evening refreshments @ Pali … Visit Ballaleshwar Asthvinayak Temple
We will reach Dadar around 21:30 Hrs (That’s Subjective)
compulsory items : Rain shower expected so please pack your bag accordingly.

- Some snacks
- Carry some extra cloths.
- If you have any medical issue please carry your own medicine as we carry only First aid.
Non-compulsory items but helpful:
Cap, Sunglasses, Raincoat, Camera , Avoid wearing Gold and other jewelry mosquito’s repellent, Electoral / Energy powder, 2 Lemon, & 2 plastic bags for weight distribution.
